Glamourous Baby

Glamourous Baby!
of course she will be,
in this..........

Onesie Pettidress by Olivia Rose TM

I have attended several baby showers this year and these sweet Onesie Pettidresses by  Olivia Rose provided the perfect gift. AnnaMaria Di Nicolantonio is the Founder and Designer behind the Olivia Rose Collection. As a mother of two adorable girls, it's easy to see where her inspiration comes from.

After purchasing these glamourous little ruffles many times, it was only last week that I discovered the talent behind the collection is only fifteen miles away in Milton, Ontario. For me, it made the obsession with these adorable baby and little girl fashions even that much sweeter. Shop Canada!

AnnaMaria says it perfectly;

'We are proud to be the first Canadian pettiskirt/petticoat private label, designed and run in Canada.'

My most recent purchase was white, but the ensemble in soft mauve was a big hit at a shower I attended earlier this summer. The bunny a'la tutu and a floral baby headband (from Chapters/Indigo) are the perfect accompaniments to tuck into the gift. You can find  the onesie's both in-store and online (HERE), or visit the Olivia Rose website for an extended selection of frills for size 0 to Young Miss.

Pearl hanger comes with the onesie at Indigo

As far as I am concerned,
the Glamour can never start too soon.

** I was not compensated for this product mention, simply wanted to share this petite glam.

Eleventh Hour Shopping

I don't like going out into the stores the last few days before Christmas. I always plan in my mind to stay home and finish the wrapping, baking more {because I've gotten so off track with that in recent years}, and arranging the treasures for the stockings.

If you are still shopping or looking for idea's of what to buy someone, here are a few Eleventh Hour Shopping idea's. And here is just the girl to get the last minute shopping done. This is our adorable Granddaughter a few years ago, out for her Santa visit and a bit of shopping. Yes, she melts hearts.

I discovered all of these gifts at Chapters Indigo. They did not compensate me for posting about their store. It just happens to be one of my favourite spots to shop and share with readers.

1. Baby, Baby : something different for the tiny elves on your list.

These are first Christmas size - so sweet.

Are these not adorable?

These are so tiny. I can imagine them on a sweet baby boy.

2. For HER : Sweet things for the sweet girls in your life.

Colourful luggage tags - perfect to identify your case easily.
These socks slouched down would make great slippers as well.

Hot water bottles with knit covers. Great for Hockey mom's to take to the arena.

3.  The Boys : Sometimes a bit tougher to buy for.

Double sided pillow so he can decide the mood.

Never met a guy who isn't a Scorsese fan.

A little something for the pup to give man's best friend.
And something manly too keep the books upright on the shelf.

Easy wrapping for the boys - Canadian Moose gift bags

4.  Hostess Gifts : Not your average store bought bon-bons.

For him or her. Flavoured easy to make pancake mix.

Purveyors of Splendid Goods - you just know it's going to be special.

I can't decide, so both of these need to come home with me.

White chocolate covered pretzels perfectly wrapped for the hostess.

You can never go wrong with books. Something a bit more light-hearted for the cook.

This is the gift you might want to keep for yourself. Timeless and classic.

5.  Santa : Something to help Santa feel welcomed when he comes to visit. These would make the perfect gift to start a Night Before Christmas tradition for children; or for  him, her or a hostess.

Cocoa or cider ?

This one is not from Chapters, but something I discovered while out shopping. We have the ultimate Frozen movie fanatic in our house. And while we know she's been good and Santa will shower her in Disney Frozen gifts, there is this wrapping option to compliment the Elsa and Anna holiday wrap.

I cannot imagine what we would do with Disney Frozen Duck tape {via Staples}, so I left it on the shelf. Just a bit of marketing gone crazy.

Enjoy the last minute shopping and preparing.

Tis the season .... to shop.

Santa came to town on the weekend and it was a kind reminder that I need to get started on preparing for Christmas. I stopped by Chapters Indigo store last week looking for a book and I quickly got lost in the Christmas gift sections.

Seriously Cute!

I love this time of the year; the displays, the colours, the lights, and oh the sparkles.
This year the owl is making his wise mark in the retail design landscape. This little cutie above can be found in the baby gift section. The hat is actually a newborn hat, but I couldn't see myself buying this wise young bird without the knit chapeau.

Owl, hat, mittens at Chapters

I'm not sure if it was the mood I was in or the early and very full displays of great gift idea's, but I left Chapters inspired about Christmas shopping. My apologies to the Chapters team - the images are taken with my iPhone and random re-arranging of items was my doing.

Hope that this inspires some idea's to make your shopping easier, here are a few of my finds .....

Knit pillows make snuggling up on a cold night so much better. Silver penguin cocktail shaker adds fun at your home bar. Candles ..... so many great colours and fragrances. Silver flask engraved 'Candy is Dandy. Liquor is quicker'.

Lined canvas bread bowl.

Cable knit tea cozy.

Reusable glass decanter comes with Belgian Hot Chocolate. Add a little owl mug.

Pillar candles a'la faux birch wood look and an amber glass owl candle holder.

In the Baby boutique these colourful and cuddly pals are waiting to go home with you. Great to sit in the branches of your Christmas tree or peek out of the top of a stocking.

With a book title like that it's hard to pass up.

I love over-scale coffee table books. Chapters has great variety for everyone on your list.

Tall confetti sprinkled champagne glasses.
Cookies, chocolates and holiday candy come in great packaging that only requires a tag.

I've gifted these leather journals many times - for guys or girls, they are classic. image via Chapters web site.

Perfect for the wine lover and for those who haven't yet discovered wine. Gift it with the teak cheese boards and knives.

THE book on my list. I borrowed the book from our library to read to my Granddaughter, but it really is something that every little girl {or big girl} should have on her shelf. This one is for my littlest Angel.

And just in case the holiday season all becomes too much ............. the message is clear on this journal.

I'm the kind of shopper who likes to see and touch the product before I buy it, but this season I plan to do a bit more shopping online. I like that Chapters has great books {always a great gift} and gift items for everyone.

** note: Chapters did not endorse this blog ......... I just love their store !

Happy Shopping!
